Genomix4Life S.r.l. was founded in July 2013 as a spinoff of the University of Salerno. The innovative SME aims to take substantial steps towards biomarker discovery and development for early diagnosis and implementation personalized therapies for the patient. Moreover, Genomix4Life meets the growing demand for the application of emerging technologies of genomics and bioinformatics and offers genomic services and solutions with cutting-edge next-generation sequencing (NGS), single cell sequencing, microarray, and bioinformatics analysis in field such us precision and preventive medicine, forensics, veterinary and agrifood. The company can offer next generation sequencing services using several high-throughput platforms, such as Illumina NovaSeq6000, NextSeq550Dx, MiSeq RUO/Dx and iScan, Genexus System Thermo Fisher Scientific, GridION Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Chromium X - 10x Genomics, SMARTer ICELL8 Single-Cell Analysis Systems - TaKaRa Bio, Tapestri Platform - Mission Bio, GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler – NanoString.

“We work to identify new diagnostic tools against cancer and bring innovation in the field of personalized medicine, creating know-how and effective approaches to improve human health,” says Maria Ravo, President and R&D Manager, Co-Founder, Genomix4Life.
The progress in the molecular mechanisms knowledge of diseases and the development of innovative techniques (NGS) has directed Genomix4Life’s research towards discovery biomarker to recognize and characterize diseases at an early stage.
“We are not only actively involved in R&D projects for liquid biopsy biomarkers discovery, but we also provide to our partners and customers genomics technologies that satisfy their research and industrial needs” says Giovanna Marchese, R&D and NGS Manager, Co-Founder, Genomix4Life.
The company is also capable of offering unparalleled technological and technical support to its partners. Genomix4Life guides customers and partners along the whole diagnostic pipeline, making sure that the best competencies and most advanced technologies are used.
By offering a wide range of genomics applications such as whole genome and exome sequencing, Genomix4Life often partners with its clients to form bespoke research and develop collaborations. The company considers customers as real partners in research and undertakes scientific collaborations in Italy and around the world, creating tailor made services designed and manufactured according to their needs.
